The GPS on our car was not connecting again for more than a day before the issue disappeared on its own.  Radio reception was also noticeably and uncommonly poor.

Now that I have software updates set to manual, we've eliminated that as a potential source of the problem, with the latest version still not available to us.  Recent rain makes me think that the problem is the sealing on the communications module, as originally suspected.  We can live with the issue, but our strategy will still be to take our car in to address it before Polestar ramps its circulation later this year.  As I've said on the investment side of this blog, we're still more than glad to have made the switch.  I'll report here on Polestar service once we get around to using it.
